Obituaries
Nancy E. (Dutt) Heist, 83, of Catasauqua, passed away August 19th at home in hospice care surrounded by her family. Born in Allentown, PA on November 21, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Maude (Saul) Dutt. She celebrated 57 years of marriage to William in June.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, and the casinos. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was the love of her life.
She is survived by her husband, Bill, daughters, Michelle Ely, Alicia Heist, and son William Heist (wife Stacy), granddaughters Jenna Edwards and Catelyn Heist, great-grandchildren AJ, Julianna and Adonis and a sister Jacqueline Wagner. She was predeceased in death by her parents and sister Shirley Leibensperger.
A Calling period will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 6-8 pm at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, PA. and again on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 9-10 am. A funeral service will follow in the parlor at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Arlington Memorial Park in Whitehall.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society c/o the funeral home.
