Obituary for Nicholas Bahnick
Nicholas Bahnick, 98, of Whitehall, passed away on February 6, 2017 at Manor Care in Bethlehem. Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Mary and Ignatz Bahnick. He was the husband of the late Mary J. (Weila) Bahnick.
Nicholas was a World War II veteran, he worked at Purolator, Inc. and with Bahnick Builders.
Surviving are his sons, Rick & wife Donna; Dave & wife Theresa; Mark & wife Sue; and his daughter, Maryann wife of David Reichard; his brothers Paul, John and Donald; many loving nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, sisters Ann Marushok and Katherine Denardo and brothers Steve, Walter and Joseph.
Funeral service will be held on Friday February 10 at 10:30 am at the Brubaker Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St. Coplay, Pa. 18037. A viewing will be held from 9:30 am until 10:30 am in the funeral home followed by a Mass at 11:00 am at St. John the Baptist Church, 1343 Newport Avenue, Northampton, Pa. 18067. Interment to follow. in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
