Obituary for Olga A. Broschak
Olga A. Broschak, 87, formerly of Northampton and Whitehall, died January 11 at the Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was married to the late Michael Broschak. Born in Auburn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Onuphrney and Justyna (Troychak)Hrynkiw. A 1949 graduate of Sacred Heart Nursing School, she was a registered nurse for the former Dr. Matthew Kasprenski Office in Whitehall, retiring in 1988. Olga was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton and a former member of its Apostleship of Prayer. She was a member of Whitehall AARP. Survivors: sons, John P. and wife Kelly of Topeka, KS, Joseph P. and his wife Peg of Tuscon, AZ, Michael A. and his wife Lina of Northampton, Thomas J. and wife Christine of Hilliard, OH; daughter, Mary J.B. wife of Edward Eidelman of New Tripoli; eight grandchildren and two great-granddaughters; a sister, Elizabeth Maitski of Easton. Services: 9:30 a.m. Thursday, January 16, 2914, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10:00 a.m., St. John theBaptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton.
