Obituary for Olga Chrin
Olga Chrin, 93, passed away on January 4, 2022, at Florentine Gardens Skilled Nursing facility located in Loveland, OH.
Born in Northampton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Wasyl Sayuk and Anna (Leshko) Sayuk. She was the wife of the late Andrew Chrin with whom she shared 51 years of marriage before his passing on January 6, 1999. Olga was employed for many years as a sewing machine operator in various local mills. She was a former member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church Northampton.
Olga was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son Benjamin Chrin (wife Donna Chrin) Loveland, OH, grandchildren; Jessica Schlueter (husband Adam), Milford, OH, Brian Chrin (wife Shannon), Mechanicsburg, PA and Melissa Paauwe (husband Jason), Oxford Twsp., MI, great-grandchildren Mikaella Schlueter, Hailey Schlueter, Aubrey Chrin, Gavin Chrin, Anna Paauwe, Bennett Paauwe, Cameron Paauwe and Douglas Chrin. She was predeceased by her son Joseph R. Chrin and nine brothers and sisters.
A viewing and parastas services will be held from 8:30-9:30 AM on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Brubaker Funeral Home Inc., 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037. A mass will follow at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1343 Newport Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
