Obituary for Patricia A. Boyer
Patricia A. Boyer, 87, died family by her side Sunday January 23, 2022 at her residence in Phoebe Home in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Kenneth L. Boyer. Born in Wilkes Barre, she was a daughter of the late George and Esther (Fagan) Miller.
Patricia was a faithful and active member of St. Mary’s Church of the Annunciation B.V.M in Catasauqua. She enjoyed volunteering her time cleaning the church or by cooking and baking for many church activities including the annual block party. Patricia worked for years for the former Penn Linen Uniform retiring when she was 62. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family and she will be remembered as a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters Deborah Klupp, Kathleen Kochanasz and husband Paul, Wanda Trauschke and husband Francis, Patricia Rice and husband Brad, Laura Fragnito and husband Carmen, Kristina Nonnemacher and husband Dennis, sons Kenneth Boyer Sr., Richard Boyer; sister Mary Sebesta and husband Eugene, Nancy Heffentrager and husband William; brother George Miller; 28 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Elizabeth Hrusecky, and sister-in-law Bonnie Miller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Thursday January 27, 2022 in St. Mary’s Church, 122 Union St., Catasauqua, PA 18032. Her viewing will be at 6-8pm Wednesday January 26 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037 and 9-10am Thursday at the church. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Church Cemetery in Catasauqua.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the church or to the Companions of Pauline, 350 Bernardsville Rd., Mendham, NJ, 07945.
