Obituary for Patricia A. Brenkacs
Patricia A. Brenkacs 70 years of Whitehall formerly of N. Catasauqua died Monday March 19, 2012 in Carlisle, Pa. Born in Catasauqua she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elsie (Reinert) Gogle. Patricia worked for Agere Technologies of Allentown for 25 years before retiring. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ of Northampton for many years where she was a very active volunteer. Pat was most happy when she could spent time enjoying moments with her family and friends. Surviving are daughter Denise Rieker of N. Catasauqua, son Robert husband of Karyn Brenkacs of Camp Hill, sisters Dorothy Guildner of Slatington and Jacqueline wife of Ralph Younger of Catasauqua, four grandchildren Matt Rieker, Hannah, Nick and Olivia Brenkacs. She was preceded in death by sisters Ethel Gerhard, Thelma Scheetz, Shirley Diaz and brother Thomas Gogle Jr. Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. Heather Kurtz at 11:30am Friday March 23 in the Grace United Church of Christ 9th and Lincoln Avenue Northampton, Pa. 18067. Call 9:00am until 11:00am Friday in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Interment will be in the Egypt Cemetery of Whitehall. Memorial contributions may be made in her name payable to Grace U.C.C.
