Obituary for Patricia A. Lafaw
Patricia A. (Laudenslager) Lafaw, 84 of Catasauqua died Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg. She was the wife of Donald R. “Ducky” Lafaw with whom she shared 63 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2022.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Molchany) Laudenslager.
Pat was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Church of the Annunciation B.V.M of Catasauqua. She worked for many years as a sewer for Linden Apparel. Pat loved playing cards and board games, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are her sons Donald A. Lafaw and wife Sheri and Ronald J. Lafaw and wife Jill, granddaughters Laura Lafaw and husband Jonathan Schmauch, Katie Lafaw and Megan Lafaw, sister Marie Carl, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Dolores Stinner and Catherine Esterly.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 122 W. Union Street, Catasauqua, PA. 18032. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the church.
Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the church.
