Obituary for Patricia A. Schutt

Patricia A. Schutt, 80 years, of Catasauqua, passed away January 14th, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Schutt. Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Raymond G. “Lefty” and Catherine P. “Katie” (O’Hawk) Laubach.

Patricia worked in food services for Kidspeace for many years before retiring. Prior to that, she was employed by Leibensperger Transportation as a school bus driver for the Northampton School District from 1980-1993.

She played softball and basketball in high school. She enjoyed going to casinos and playing bingo, and drove the bingo bus.

Survivors include her sons Thomas R. and his wife Eleanor, John E. and his wife Tina, Burt R. and his wife Andrea, and Patrick J. and his wife Jennifer, a daughter Cathy C. Wittreich and her companion Brent Fenstermaker, a brother Raymond and his wife Diane, and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, January 19th, 2018 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. There will be a calling period from 10-11am on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a breast cancer or diabetes charity, c/o the funeral home.
