Obituary for Paul Barna
Paul Barna, 79, of North Whitehall Twp., passed away April 21, 2016 at home. He was married to Julia C. (Klucsarits) Barna for 58 years. Born in N. Whitehall Twp., he was the son of the late Wasyl and Mary (Kelbo) Barna. He was a retired knitting mechanic employed in several textile mills. He was a founder and past president of the Ormrod Volunteer Ambulance Service. Paul was a first aid, CPR and EMT instructor and the recipient of numerous service awards. He was a lifetime member of the NOVA Auxiliary and a member of the Predator Archers Club. He was a member of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Whitehall. Survivors: Wife; daughters, Barbara wife of Michael Anglestein, Paula wife of Timothy Bauer; sons, Michael and wife Melissa; Paul; 10 grandchildren; sister, Paulette Bellis; sister-in-law, Anna Barna. He was predeceased by 9 brothers and sisters. Services: A viewing will be from 8:30-10:00 a.m., Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Whitehall. Interment, St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Northampton.
