Obituary for Paul Frary
Paul Frary was born on June 17, 1940 in Shawnee, Kansas. He lived a rich
life with joy and kindness. He died peacefully surrounded by love on March
21, 2023.
Paul is survived by his wife Donalee, sons Eric Frary (Janice),
Nick Titchenal (Victoria), BJ Titchenal, and six grandchildren (Kelsey,
Jason, Breanna, Zachary, Cole, Derrick). His daughter, Amy Frary, and older
siblings predeceased him.
He was a professor emeritus and chair of the accounting, business, and
economics department at Muhlenberg College. Prior to Muhlenberg, he taught
economics and chaired the department at Westminster College. He had the
honor of being a visiting professor at several international universities.
He earned his PhD in economics from the University of Arkansas. Paul once
proudly served as president of the Wilmington Area School District. His
passion for teaching and education was obvious to all who knew him. He loved
being a teacher. He was a friend of Bill W. for 31 years.
Paul married Donalee (Sink) in 1995. They shared a love of travel, dancing,
and especially time with their sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren,
extended family and friends. One of his core values was family
relationships.
He was a faithful member of Asbury United Methodist Church for over 30
years.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at
2:00 pm at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1533 Springhouse Road, Allentown,
PA, 18104.
