Obituary for Paul J. "Chunk" Kurtz
Paul J. “Chunk” Kurtz, 67 of Allentown, formerly a West Catty Boy, died Friday, October 10, 2014 at his home. Born in Allentown he was a son of the late Shirley Jean (Heffelfinger) Kurtz. He was married to Bonney (Fenstermaker) Kurtz. Paul was an Auto Body Painter for Mack Truck and Heimbach Auto Body. He was a member of Salem U.C.C. of Catasauqua and a Vietnam Army veteran. Surviving along with his wife is his son Chad, husband to Carolee Kurtz and daughter Shari, wife of Anthony Evans. 2 sisters, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Salem United Church of Christ, 615 3rd Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032. There will be a calling period from 10:00-11:00 am at the Church on Wednesday prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made in his name payable to the church. The Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua is in charge of arrangements.
