Obituary for Paul N. Sommers
Paul N. Sommers, 70, of Effort, PA. passed away on April 7, 2025. Born in Coplay, PA., was the son of the late Edward H. and Nettie J. (Kemmerer) Sommers.
He was the husband of the late Cathie A. (Hegedus) Sommers with whom he shared eleven years of marriage prior to her passing in September of 2021.
He was a graduate of Whitehall High School and served honorably in the U.S. Army.
Paul managed a variety of establishments which included Alpo Pet Foods, a tractor supply company, The Silver Star Restaurant and Quakertown Restaurant. Paul loved dogs and was the proud owner of several dogs. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his sons David C. Sommers and wife Jennifer, Charles Sommers, daughters Tiffany Barber and husband Roy, Shaina, grandchildren Lindsey, Riley, Emily, Roy Jr., Violet, Denzel, Tianna, Charles Jr., Curtis, Eric, Connor and Ivan and great-grandson Gustav. He was predeceased by brothers, sisters, and daughter Cheree.
