Obituary for Pauline K. "Polly" Long
Pauline K. ”Polly” Long 70 of Catasauqua died Wednesday October 10, 2007 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twsp.. She was the wife of John H. Long and they celebrated their 52 wedding anniversary June 2007. Born in Easton Pa. she was the daughter of the late Morris and Ada (Eisenhard) Stimmel Sr. Polly was a member of Hope United Church of Christ of Wind Gap, Pa. Surviving with her husband are sons Ted husband of Donna Long of Bethlehem and Todd Long of Bethlehem, daughters April wife Robert Brown of Perkasie and Karen Nardone of Cape May Courthouse, NJ., sisters Betty Martin of Easton, Nancy wife of Donald Burwell of Easton and Shirley Molenda of Tacoma, WA., brothers Donald husband of Debbie Stimmel of Winfield, Kansas, and Kenneth husband of Pat Stimmel of Montrose, Pa. Polly was called “Ahnie” by her four grandchildren Andrew, Matthew, Noah and Taylor. She was preceded in death by sisters Ruth Lichtenwalner and Arline Wessner and brother Morris Stimmel Jr. Services will be 11:00am Saturday October 20, 2007 in the Hope United Church of Christ 701 Cherry Street Wind Gap, Pa. 18091 Call 9:30am until 11:00am Saturday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. The John H. Brubaker Funeral Home of Catasauqua is in charge of arrangements.
