Obituary for Pauline M. Miller
Pauline M. Miller, 85, died Tuesday February 21, 2006 at her home in Whitehall. Born in Allen Township, she was the daughter of the late Charles Joseph and Emma (Laub) Biery. A member of Christ U.C.C. (Schoenersville), she was a former member of the choir and Sunday School teacher as well as an elder, a member of church council and past president of the women’s guild. Pauline was also the past president of the Phoebe Home Ladies Auxillary in Allentown, a former girl scout leader, a member of the White Shrine and was 3 times the Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star – Jessie K. Berlin, Chapter #492. Surviving are her daughters Bernice, wife of Willard Kulp of Bethlehem; Beverly, wife of William Thomas of Fleetwood; and Barbara, wife of Gary Michael of Danielsville. A sister Lorretta Hoderman of Catasauqua, 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Services will be held 11AM Friday February 24, 2006 at the Christ (Schoenersville) United Church of Christ, 5050 Airport Road, Allentown (Schoenersville), 18109. Call from 7-8:30PM Thursday February 23 at the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home, 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, 18032, and 10-11AM Friday at the church. The Order of the Eastern Star service will be Thursday evening at the funeral home at 7:30pm. Contributions may be made in her name to the Phoebe Home, 1925 Turner St., Allentown, 18104.
