Obituary for Rachel S. Jodry
Rachel S. Jodry, 90 of Allentown, passed away on December 15, 2021, at Cedarbrook Allentown.
Born in Lansford, she was a daughter of Lewis W. Ellis and Hattie Mae Neyer.

She was the wife of the late Curtis E. Jodry and a longtime resident of Catasauqua where she was a great neighbor! Rachel was an active member of Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua. She was a resolute mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family and to the kids of the neighborhood.

She had many passions. She loved crocheting, the “keenagers” of church and was very generous with gifts and her time. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters; Louise and James Gibson; Kathryn and Craig Hellie; Nancy and Mark Case; Gloria and Ronald Kleckner; sons; Curtis and Karen and William and Lois; brothers; James Ellis and Sherry; sisters; Mabel Bonner, Betsy Henninger and Donna Henninger; sister in law, June Krapf, 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Thomas Jodry and ten brothers and sisters; 2 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A Calling period will be held at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, January 10, 2022, 327 Chestnut Street, Coplay, PA. from 10-11 a.m. with a service officiated by her son Curtis S. Jodry at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a brief graveside service at Fairview Cemetery in Whitehall. There will be a luncheon held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Catasauqua.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Cedarbrook for their compassion and diligent care of Rachel.

Memorial contributions in Rachel’s memory may be made to Cedarbrook of Allentown. 350 S. Cedarbrook Road, Allentown, PA. 18104.
