Obituary for Ralph A. Fritts
Ralph A Fritts, 94, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Fellowship Manor in Whitehall, PA. Of recent years, a resident of Mount Nebo WV., Slatington, PA. and Whitehall, PA. Born 1928 and raised in Easton, PA. Ralph was predeceased by his wife Bonnie Mae Fritts of Mount Nebo, WV., parents Charles Fritts and Maude Martin and sister Evelyn and brother Martin.
Ralph enjoyed the outdoors and especially hunting the mountains of PA. and WV. A successful deer hunter to the age of 93. Beyond hunting, one of his favorite pastimes was enjoying an afternoon of picnic foods and fun up yonder in the hills of WV. with the gang of family and friends. He was a big follower of college football and as a Penn State alumni, was a huge fan of the Blue and White. Ralph was a veteran and proudly served his country in both the Navy and Marines during the Korean conflict. Ralph was a member of St. Johns UCC Church in Laurys Station, PA. and prior to moving to PA., the Gilgal United Methodists Church in Mt. Nebo, WV. He was an account manager for DairyPak (International Paper) and prior to retirement a financial advisor for AG Edwards.
Survivors include daughter Suzanne and husband George Pavelko of Slatington; son Glenn and wife Jayne Fritts of Whitehall; and son David and wife Diane Fritts of Whitehall as well as seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated and his cremains will be interred in the church cemetery at a later date and time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gilgal United Methodist Church c/o Church Choir, P.O. Box 511 Mt. Nebo, WV 26679.
Services will be announced at a later date and at the convenience of family.
