Obituaries
Ray loved to fly and owned and operated a Piper airplane. He flew recreationally for over 50 years and was a member of the Quiet Birdmen. He enjoyed photography and biking and could fix just about anything. He owned and operated Hahn Lawn for a number of years. Before that he worked in customer service for Eastern Airlines. Most recently he drove for A & A Limo Service. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in Allentown and was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church in North Catasauqua.
Surviving along with his wife June are his son Gerald Hahn; daughter Sandra Lower and her husband Brian; brothers Bernard Hahn and wife Sharon, Ernest Hahn and wife Penny and sister Kristen and husband Buddy Mink; grandchildren Zachary, Brielle and Braeden. Ray was preceded in death by a sister Margaret “Peggy” Kastelnik.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday December 12th, 2019 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. His viewings will be from 6-8pm Wednesday December 11th and 10-11am Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ray Hahn Memorial Fund, care of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 4th & Pine Streets, Catasauqua, 18032.
