Obituary for Raymond G. "Sonny" Warren Sr.
Raymond G. “Sonny” Warren Sr. 71 years, 11 months and 24 days of Hokendauqua died in his residence Tuesday June 13, 2006. He was the husband of Eleanor (Buchman) Warren and the celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary August 2, 2005. Born in West Catasauqua he was the son of the late Paul and Roxie (Nonnemacher) Warren. Raymond worked for the Whitehall Township Public Works for 20 years before retiring. Previously he was employed by Asplundh Tree Service. He was a life member of the Hokendauqua Fire Co. #1 and a member of the Whitehall Township Fire Department for 30 years. Surviving with his wife are; Sons - Raymond G. Warren Jr. and his wife Linda (Crouthamel) Warren of Whitehall. George husband of Janis (Serfass) Warren of Berwick, Pa. Daughter - Roxann Frey and fiancée John Szerencits of Northampton. Grandchildren - Christopher Frey, Raymond Warren III, Mark Frey, Lee Warren, Teresa (Warren) Fowler and husband Jay Fowler, Stephanie Warren, Tiffany Frey and Kimberly Warren. Great GrandchildTrevor Fowler Sisters - Grace Schneck and Shirley wife of Robert Lentz of Allentown, June Chuss of Whitehall and Joyce wife of Earl Vogel of Catasauqua. Predeceased by brothers Fred, Walter, David and Paul and Sister Mabel Speth. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday on the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Call 7:00 to 8:30 pm Friday and 9:00 to 10:00 am Saturday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. The Rev. Daniel Lundmark will officiate. Contributions may be given to Hokendauqua Fire Co. Building Fund c/o of the funeral home.
