Raymond R. Krenn, Sr. of Coplay passed away peacefully on February 16, 2024, at the age of 93. He was the husband of Louise C. (Kropf) with whom he shared 68 years of marriage this past November. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Jacob and Helen (Brobst) Krenn.
Raymond proudly served his country with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He worked at Napa for many years and Eastern Industries Stone Company before retiring. Ray was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting, trap shooting and his trips to Wyoming to hunt. Ray was also a hunting safety instructor. He was a lifetime member of Grouse Hall and a past president. Ray was involved in many organizations. He was a former Commander of the Coplay American Legion, Captain of Grouse Hall Trap Shooters, past President of Coplay Senior Citizens Group and helped his wife run the Coplay Food Bank. Ray also loved the Phillies.
Surviving along with his wife, are his children, sons Raymond, Jr., and wife Donna; Edward and wife Tanya; Wayne and partner Jess; daughter Brenda Kuchera and husband Richard and daughter Luann Krenn; 4 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister.
