Obituary for Richard "Rick" P. Dolgos
Richard “Rick” P. Dolgos, 77, of Whitehall, passed away on June 28, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Pat A. (Seng) Dolgos whom he was married to for over 55 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joe Dolgos and Irene (Strauss) Dolgos.
Rick served proudly in the US Navy. He was a member of the former St. Lawrence Church. He was a retired locomotive engineer from Norfolk Southern railroad.
Rick had many passions. He was an avid fisherman, skilled handyman and enjoyed working on his house. He was a lifetime member of Hokey American Legion and Fire Hall.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors along with his wife, Pat are daughter; Denise A. Knapp and Harold; brother; Joseph Dolgos; sister, Barbara Montoya, and husband Sol; grandchildren, Carlee Worman and Kyle Woman and wife Dana; great grandchildren; Emma, Troy, and Leon.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua is entrusted with arrangements.
