Obituary for Robert E. Campbell
Robert E. Campbell, 82 of N. Catasauqua died Sunday June 29, 2014 in Allentown. He was the husband of Elaine M. (Hudy) Campbell celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary October of 2013. Born in Allentown he was the son of the late Harry and Pauline (Apple) Campbell. Robert worked for Bell Telephone Co. as an installer for 37 years before retiring in 1992. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War stationed with the Military Police. Surviving with his wife Elaine is daughter Heather wife of Kirk Nielsen, son Troy husband of Kristen Campbell, grandchildren Adriena and Michael Marano, Payton and Brynn Campbell and step grandchildren Madison and Jordan Nielsen. He was preceded in death by brothers James, Paul and William. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Thursday, July 3, 2014 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032. Call from 9:00 am until 11:00 am Thursday in the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given in his name to the Catasauqua American Legion Post 215 330 Second Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032.
