Robert E. "Bob" Frederick, 55, of Whitehall, died peacefully at home on Mary 22, 2015. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Donald G. Frederick (51) and Anne (Graver) Frederick (86). Bob received awards for his accomplishments and service from the AV and Theatre Departments of Whitehall High School before graduating in 1978. Bob matriculated to Lehigh Carbon Community College where he studied engineering and electronics. He was awarded an Associate Degree in Electronics Technology in 1980. Bob enjoyed an accomplished career in the oil and gas industry, working for giants, Air Products, Exxon, Dow Chemical and Agilent Technologies, among lesser known firms throughout the country. Bob will be remembered by his family for his inquisitive nature and gentle, and caring, kind and thoughtful spirit. He was an accomplished coin and rock collector, avid gardener, fearless aviator and dedicated cyclist at different times. He enjoyed bird-watching and nature photography.
