Obituary for Robert F. "Blackie" Deutsch, Sr.
Robert F. “Blackie” Deutsch, Sr. of North Coplay and Coplay died on April 7, 2021. He was the husband of Jacqueline A. (Brown) Deutsch for 54 years. Born in North Coplay, he was the son of the late Julius and Anna (Yany) Deutsch.
He served proudly in the U.S. Army from 1960-1962. He worked at the Bethlehem Steel and then The Durkees Foods until his retirement in 1996.
Robert is survived by his son Robert, Jr. at home; daughters; Shawn Correll and husband Charles of Northampton; Corrina Urbanavage and husband Joseph of Macungie; and one grandson, Dillon Correll. He was predeceased by a sister, Deborah Deutsch.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
