Obituary for Robert H. Pursell, Jr.
Robert H. Pursell, Jr., 77 years of Catasauqua died October 11, 2016 in Catasauqua. Born in Harrisburg he was the son of the late Robert H. Pursell Sr. and the late Virginia (Tedesco-Houser) Pursell. In June he and his wife Diane J. (Braun) Pursell were married 49 years.
Bobby had worked as an estimator for Adam Meyer Moving and Storage for over 50 years before retiring. He was a member of the Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, a member of the NRA and a Catasauqua High School gradutate, class of 1957. He served in the Marine Corps. reserves and was a Sgt. in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving along with his wife Diane are his son Edward husband of Linda Pursell, daughters Traci wife of Eric Reitz, Conni wife of Bryan Dannecker, sisters Marjorie Gillespie, Sylvia Pursell and brother Rodney husband of Donna Pursell; grandchildren Nycole, Jennifer, Robert, Alexis, Ty and Hunter and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Luke’s Hospice House Endowment Campaign 2455 Black River Road Bethlehem, Pa. 18015.
