Obituary for Ronald V. DeMaio, Sr.
Ronald V. DeMaio Sr., 75 years of Alburtis died Saturday February 11, 2017 in his residence. He was the devoted husband of Carole (Amato) DeMaio and celebrated 54 years of marriage last December 2, 2016. Born in Hackensack, NJ he was the son of the late Samuel Sr. and Margaret (Yenish) DeMaio.
Ronald worked as an auto mechanic and owned his own gas station for many years.
Surviving with his wife Carole, are sons Ron V. DeMaio Jr. and husband Ken Shutter, David and his wife Debbie DeMaio, daughter Maria wife of Edward Schroeder, brother Samuel Jr. and George DeMaio and sister Betty LaManna. He has 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday February 16th, 2017 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 WALNUT STREET CATASAUQUA, PA. 18032. His viewing will be from 9am until 11am Thursday in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Jude’s Children Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
