Obituary for Rosa Binder
Rosa Binder, 82, formerly of Stiles and Allentown, of Center Valley passed away February 12, 2016 at Sacred Heart Senior Living, Center Valley. She was married to the late Erich Binder for 48 years. Born in Zahling, Austria, she was the daughter of the late Josef and Aloisia (Wunderler)Stangl and the adoptive daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Dieber. She was a seamstress for local garment mills. She was a former cook and member of the West Coplay Mannerchor. Rosa was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Allentown. Survivors: Daughter, Linda wife of Kurt Shumberger; son, John and wife Susan, all of Center Valley; grandchildren, Kurt E.G., John Jr., James, Jeffrey, Shannon; a sister, Hilda Posch of Austria. Services: Viewing from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Monday, February 15, 2016, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay. Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2016, St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 920 South Second St., Allentown. Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Whitehall.
