Obituary for Roy M. Brunell
Roy M. Brunell, 78 of South Whitehall Township died November 30, 2015 in St. Luke’s Hospice House Black River Road. Born in Bethlehem he was the son of the late Roy and Mary (Siegfeldt) Brunell. He was the husband of Delores (Heckenberger) Brunell and celebrated 30 years of marriage together this past February.
Roy worked for Mack Trucks for many years. After that, Roy ran a Mac Tools Distributorship until 2003. He then started Roy’s Tools Sales and was the owner and operator until his retirement in March of this year. He is a 1955 Liberty High School graduate and a lifelong New York Yankees Fan.
Surviving along with his wife Delores are daughters Frances wife of Thomas Duff, Denise wife of Richard Meyers, Debbie Brunell all of Bethlehem, sons Patrick and wife Lisa of Colorado Springs, CO., Michael Brunell of Lowville, NY and a stepson Christopher Pfeiffer of Allentown. He has a sister Mary wife of Donald Spry of Bethlehem, brother Gerald Brunell and wife Sandy of Bethlehem, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Roy M. Brunell, Jr. and 2 grandsons.
At Roy’s request services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in his name payable to St. Luke’s VNA Hospice, 1510 Valley Center Parkway, Bethlehem, 18015.
