Obituary for Roy P. Gable
Roy P. "Grumpy" Gable, 80, of Whitehall, passed away September 15, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. He was married to the late Bettyann Gable. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Kermit G. and Margaret L. (Doney) Gable. He honorably served in the U.S. Army reserves. He was a mechanic for the former Roll-A-Long, Whitehall and later delivered for Knoll Furniture, East Greenville, retiring as a bus driver from the Carbon-Lehigh Intermediate Unit #21, Walnutport. He is survived by children, Donna wife of Bill Kleedorfer, Leslie Gable and wife Valerie, Greg Gable and wife Tammy, Michelle wife of Greg Horton, Roy Gable Jr and wife Pam; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry and Kermit Gable. Services: Private. Arrangements, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay.
