Obituary for Rudolph E. Kloiber
Rudolph E. Kloiber, 72 years of Whitehall, died surrounded by his loving family at his home on Thursday, November 22, 2018. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Rudolph J. and Arlene (Olsen) Kloiber. He and his wife Colleen M. (Deibert) Kloiber were celebrating 49 years of marriage this month.
Rudolph was a telecommunications sales associate who loved baseball, basketball, the Cowboys and golf. He was a coach for Hokey A.A. Rudolph was a Navy war vet who travelled to the North Pole and South America during the Vietnam war. He was a member of the American Legion Post #739 in Hokey.
Surviving along with his wife Colleen are his children, son Erik Kloiber and significant-other Michele Dragovits; daughter Erin, wife of Abele Iacobelli; sisters Diane wife of Edward Vogt and Mitzi Berklite; five grandchildren Michael, Emily, Sophia, Brooke and Ian. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Elizabeth.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in his name payable to the Whitehall Coplay Middle School c/o Rudy Kloiber, 2930 Zephyr Blvd., Whitehall, PA 18052.
