Obituary for Russell W. Roberts
Russell W. Roberts, 89, died Monday October 29th, 2012. He was born April 1, 1923 in Allentown. Russell grew up in Catasauqua, PA and was the son of William and Margaret and brother to Merrill all of whom are pre-deceased. Graduated Girard College in 1940. Russell was a WWII veteran. He loved Germany and lived there for over 50 years. His life's work was the planning & logistics that supported the US Military and NATO forces around the world. Russell is survived by his sister-in-law Ruth and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1pm Friday, November 2, 2012 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, 18032. Call from 12-1pm Friday at the funeral home.
