Obituary for Ruth C. Herman
Ruth C. Herman, 89, formerly of Coplay died January 14 at Williams Manor, Wind Gap. She was married to the late Charles F. Herman. Born in Coplay, she was the daughter of Robert I. and Clara (Moyer) Trankley. She was employed by various local mills in the garment industry. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Coplay. Survivors: daughter, Cynthia wife of Kenneth Beck of Bethlehem; granddaughter, Wendy wife of Richard Laubenstein of Kutztown; a sister, Louis Kropf of Coplay. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy and brothers, Allan and Raymond. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 20, St. John's Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., Coplay. No calling hours.
