Obituary for Ruth C. Huffort
Ruth C. Huffort, 94, of Whitehall passed away Friday, April 11, 2025 at Bethlehem Nursing Home.
Born in Allentown, she was the wife of the late Roland T. Huffort, Jr. with whom she shared 65 years of marriage prior to his passing in January of 2015.
She was a sewing machine operator for the garment industry for 32 years.
She was a faithful member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Coplay. She was a kind, loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish fond memories include her sons Wayne Huffort and wife Patricia, Mark Huffort and wife Mary Ellen, sister Miriam Schuon, grandchildren Adam Huffort and wife Lauren, Ryan Huffort and great grandchildren Jocelyn, Nathan, Macie and Savannah. She was predeceased by daughter Linda.
There will be a memorial visitation on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 10-11am at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 327 Chestnut St., Coplay. Funeral service to follow in the parlor at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made directly to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Coplay.
