Obituary for Ruth C. Smith
Ruth C. Smith 87 years of Weatherly, Pa. former of West Catasauqua and Jim Thorpe died Thursday November 27, 2008 in Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton. She was married to F. Harry Smith of Weatherly for 52 years on July 19, 2008 Born in Kimberton, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Clara (Deery) Lacy. Surviving with her husband are son Richard husband of Lenore Smith of West Catasauqua, Daughter Sandra Kulpa of Summit Hill, Lucille wife of Joseph Raczkowski of Jim Thorpe, brother Richard husband of Betty Lacy of York and sisters Dora and Evelyn Lacy of Topton. Ruth has ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Carl Wieder and brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua is in charge of arrangements.
