Ruth J. Stumpf, 96, formerly of Hokendauqua, passed away October 3, 2016. She was married to the late John J. Stumpf. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late T. Eugene and Mary (Latsch) Buster. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Coplay and its Altar and Rosary Society. Survivors: Children: Ann wife of Frank Vitovitch of Northampton, Thomas Stumpf of Nazareth, Donna wife of Benjamin Chrin of Cincinnati, OH; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Lucie Stumpf; sisters, Helen Mayer, Jean Buster. Services: Viewing from 8:30-9:30 a.m., Friday, October 7, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., St. Peter Catholic Church, Coplay. Interment, parish cemetery, Whitehall.
