Obituary for Ruth M. Hahn
Ruth M. Hahn, 96 years of Catasauqua and Vero Beach, FL. died Friday November 22, 2013 in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Raymond B. Hahn. Born in Luzerne County, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Elizabeth (Glomb) Schornstein. Ruth worked in various secretarial positions retiring from the American Mathematical Society at Lehigh University. She was an avid bridge player for 27 years and enjoyed water skiing and golf into her seventies. Surviving are sons Raymond husband of June of N. Catasauqua, Bernard husband of Sharon of Northampton, Ernest husband of Penny of Catasauqua, daughter Kristin wife of Roland Mink J. of Macungie, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren with one more on the way and her companion of 17 years, Gil Greenberg. Ruth was preceded in death by her daughter Margaret. Services will be private with no calling hours.
