Obituary for Ruth V. Barry
Ruth V. Barry, 92 years, died Sunday, October 20th, 2019 at HCR ManorCare in Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Allen W. Barry. Born in Millersburg, she was a daughter of the late Lester J. and Helen M. (Geistwite) Paul.
Ruth worked for many years as a presser for the former Durell Garment Company as well as a variety of other businesses in the Lehigh Valley. She was a long time member of Salem U.C.C. in Catasauqua.
She is survived by her daughter Gladys Bergsman; brother Henry Paul; grandchildren Dean Barry and Edward F. Bergsman Jr. and his wife Amy and great grandchildren Zachary and Elizabeth. She was preceded in death by her son Gary A. Barry and her granddaughter Kim Bergsman.
Graveside services will be held at 12pm Saturday October 26th, 2019 at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 1700 Airport Road, Allentown, 18103. There will be a calling period from 11:30-12 Saturday at the cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Salem U.C.C. 615 3rd St. Catasauqua, 18032.
