Obituary for SGT. 1ST CLASS DEAN T. WELLINGTON, CERTIFIED ASSKICKER
SGT. 1st CLASS Dean T. Wellington, Certified ASSKICKER, 55, of Beverly Hills, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday December 1, 2022. Formally of Allentown, PA., he was the son of Patricia Schwank and the late Robert Wellington. He was the husband of Christina L. (Snyder) Wellington with whom he shared 11 years of marriage this year.
Dean was a career Army man and was very proud of his service to his country. Dean served his country honorably retiring as a SGT. 1st Class E7. He served multiple tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, and Germany to name a few.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and NRA and was a credit short of receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Health.
He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Christina; sons; Benjamin Wellington, Justin Wellington, Cole Davis; daughters; Janine Wellington, Sadey Wellington, and Miley Wellington; brothers; Robert Wellington, Keith Wellington, Jody Wellington, and James Wellington; sister, Brenda Wellington; grandchildren; Forrest Michael Ashcraft, Nevaeh and Jaxon Wellington as well as many nieces and nephews.
There will be a calling period on Thursday December 8, 2022 from 10-11am at Faith Lutheran Church 3355 MacArthur Rd, Whitehall, PA 18052. Funeral service to follow in the church at 11am. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Allentown, PA.
