Obituary for Salvatore Carlino
Salvatore Carlino, 62 years old, of Catasauqua, died Monday November 23rd, 2015 at Westminster Village in Allentown. He was the husband of Joy M. Carlino of Catasauqua and together they celebrated 37 years of marriage this month. Born in North Bergen, NJ, he was a son of Ermando Carlino of Florida and the late Lucille (Dorso) Carlino.
Salvatore worked as a letter carrier for the Catasauqua Post Office for 24 years before retiring. He was member of St. John Fisher (formerly St. Lawrence) Catholic Church in North Catasauqua. Salvatore love his sports and was an avid New York Yankees and Indianapolis Colts fan.
Surviving along with his wife Joy are his son Michael Carlino and granddaughters Adriana and Madison Carlino. He was preceded in death by his son Salvatore Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, November 27th, 2015 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. His viewing will be from 9:30-11am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Disabled American Veterans (DAV), PO Box 14301
