Obituary for Sandra E. Becker
Sandra E. Becker, 68, of Coplay, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2022 at her home. Formally of Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late Stewart W. Hahn and Elaine E. (Nagle) Hahn. Sandra was the loving wife of James A. Becker, Sr. with whom she shared 33 years of marriage.
Sandra earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Lockhaven University. She taught middle school Science in the Northern Lehigh School district. She was a former member of Grace United Methodist church in Catasauqua. She later went on to earn her seminary degree from Drew University. She was a minister at Neola United Methodist Church.
She loved to travel and enjoyed visits to the family home in Arizona. Family was the most important to her. Her grandchildren meant the world to her! She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sandra will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband James, sons, Shane J. Becker and wife Aubrey, James Jr. and wife Cassandra, brother, Ronald Hahn, grandchildren, Mason, Angelina, Colton, Savannah, Melody, Jameson and Hudson and niece Katie.
Memorial services will be held at 11am Saturday July 30, 2022 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1533 Springhouse Road, Allentown, PA 18104. There will be a time to greet the family from 10-11am in the Parlor Room at the church.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. www.stjude.org. c/o the funeral home. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua is entrusted with arrangements.
