Obituary for Sandra J. Brennan
Sandra J. Brennan, 77 years of Bethlehem died Friday December 5, 2014 in St. Luke’s Hospice of the VNA in Bethlhem. Born in Coaldale she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Pollack) Sakitis. Sandra worked in food service at Air Products of Allentown through Sodexo for many years before retiring. She never spoke ill of anyone and instead she had a very warm heart and brought a smile to those she met. Sandra enjoyed being with her family. Surviving are daughters Victoria wife of Stan Deutch, Andrea Luciano and her partner Mary Turk, Donna Schussler, sons Joseph husband of Amy Luciano, John Luciano, brother Jack Sakitis, sisters Margaret Gilhooly and Daryl Wolf. Her grandchildren are Ali Karbassi, Jane Thomas, Julie & Sophie Luciano, Christopher Luciano, Melanie Hunt, Heather Sawka and Beth Ann Luciano. Her great grandchildren Christopher and Jessie Hunt, Gaven and Haven and many nephews, cousins, great nephews and great nieces. She was preceded in death by her son Leonard Luciano and her brother Robert Sakitis. Memorial services will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday December 10, 2014 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. There will be a calling period 2:00pm until 3:00pm Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will be private in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given in her name payable to the Alzheimer’s Association 17 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055 or to Manor Care 2021 Westgate Drive Bethlehem, Pa. 18017.
