Obituary for Sarah E. Fritzinger
Sarah E. Fritzinger, 95, of North Catasauqua died Friday December 28th, 2012 at Whitehall Manor in Whitehall. She was the wife for 75 years to the late Franklin G. Fritzinger. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Mary (Surman) Hagerman. Sarah worked for over 20 years as a seamstress for the former Parmet Company of Catasauqua before retiring. She was a long time member of Salem U.C.C. in Catasauqua. Sarah had a heart of gold and was very giving of her time and always thinking of others. She loved to bake and was always happy to share and give her baked goods as gifts. Surviving are her sons Franklin J. of Catasauqua and Richard and his wife Karen of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren Jeffrey, Joseph, Michael, John and Kris; 9 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday January 2nd, 2013 at Salem U.C.C., 615 3rd St. Catasauqua, 18032. Call from 9:30-10:30am at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, 18032. Memorial contributions may be made in her name payable to the church care of the funeral home.
