Obituaries
Serafino “Nick” Camody, 83, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Delores (Evans) Camody with whom he shared 62 years of marriage this past March. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Nicholas Camody an Antoinette (DeLuca) Camody.
Nick honorably served in the U.S. Navy. He was formally employed as a truck driver where he had the opportunity to travel the United States. He enjoyed traveling the country for over 40 years before his retirement.
He was a great conversationalist, father, and friend. He loved music and sharing Sunday dinner with his girls. Family was everything to him. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his beloved wife, Delores, he will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Sherrie L. Heffernan and husband David of Whitehall, Delores M. Zadzora of Slatington, Stacey M. Millen and husband Hugh of Whitehall, Danielle A. Snyder and husband Brian of Whitehall; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Maryann Bauer and Theresa Camody; and brother, Nicholas Camody.
A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Brubaker Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow the service at Coplay Cemetery, Oak St., Coplay, PA 18037. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lehigh County Veterans Affairs c/o the funeral home.
