Obituary for Sherri K Justice
Sharon K. "Sherri" Herman Justice, 72, of Bethlehem, beloved mother and grandmother, died peacefully on Thursday June 22, 2017, while receiving hospice care at Suburban Community Hospital, Plymouth Meeting, PA. She had been a resident of Aristacare Meadow Springs in Plymouth Meeting. Born in Allentown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Lansford and Grace (Burger) Herman.

She was retired from Lucent Technologies, Allentown, PA.

She is survived by a daughter Kristen Vargo and her husband John of Bethlehem/ Lower Nazareth Township, 2 granddaughters, Jessica and Jordan, sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheila and Jerry Persing of Northampton, PA, and Pamela and Don Smith of Roxbury, ME, nieces Michelle Dorwart Waskiewicz and husband Rob and their children Kyle and Grace, and Megan Dorwart.

Sherri was known for her outstanding memory (which drove us all crazy!) and love of trivia. Her favorite pastime was playing piano. She enjoyed playing scrabble & watching Jeopardy, and read the dictionary for fun. She loved music, especially Bohemian Rhapsody and Handel’s Messiah. She had been an active bowler. She loved her chili and books. She was loved by many and always had a smile for you. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was known as Grammy Sherri by the family and Sherri-Baby by her sisters. She loved her many granddogs over the years, and had been devoted to her dog Apricot. Her car license plate said DIF DRUM which exemplified the way in which she led her life. She was unable to donate her organs due to her health issues and had always wanted her brain excised and donated to science. She battled many medical ailments and had 9 lives. She was very spiritual and religious. She had a true love for Jesus. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. `
She will be cremated and there will be a celebration of life on water with fireworks at the discretion of the family.
Donations can be made in her name to organizations related to the heart, lungs, animals and domestic violence.
