Obituary for Shirley M. Hirschman
Shirley M. Hirschman, 82, of Northampton, passed away January 3, 2017 at Alexandria Manor of Bath. She was the wife of the late Anthony F. "Tony" Hirschman for 56 years. Born in Danielsville, she was the daughter of the late William I and Effie (Reimer) Heffelfinger. A Korean War veteran, she honorably served her country in the US Air Force. An LPN, she was also employed at a podiatrist's practice in Northampton. She was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton. Survivors: Sons, Anthony Jr. and wife Brenda, Michael and wife Christina, all of Northampton; daughters, Kathy L. wife of Richard Grube of Northampton; Michele wife of James Peluso of Coplay;7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Joann Ritter; brothers, Neil, Larry and Roger Heffelfinger. Services: Viewing from 8-9:30 a.m., Saturday, January 7, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.
