Obituary for Stella F. Nederostek
Stella F. Nederostek, 96 years, of Jim Thorpe, died Monday September 17th, 2018 at home. She was the wife of the late Jacob E. Nederostek. Born in Ormrod, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Zima) Strongowski.
Stella was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Jim Thorpe. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing pinochle, and going to the casino.
Survivors include sons Gerald and his wife Judith of Jim Thorpe, James W. and his wife Kathryn of Virginia Beach, VA, and Robert J. of Palmerton, daughters Marie R. Feichtl of Wescosville and Diane M. DeNard and her husband David of Owosso, MI, grandchildren Jennifer L. Nederostek, Jonathan G. Nederostek and his wife Sharon, Jeffrey T. Feichtl, James C. Nederostek and his wife Shandy, Kathryn S. Nederostek, Celia E. Cielinski and her husband Eric, Amanda M. Nederostek and her husband Corey Bentley, and David J. DeNard, and great grandchildren Anna, Adison, Sofia, Carly, Griffin, Samuel, Rachel, and Ellett. She was predeceased by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10am on Saturday September 22nd, 2018 at Brubaker Funeral Home Inc. 327 Chestnut St. Coplay, PA 18037. There will be a viewing from 9-10am on Saturday at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park’s Mausoleum 1700 Airport Rd. Allentown, PA 18109. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Immaculate Conception Church 180 W. Broadway Jim Thorpe, PA 18229 or Ascend Hospice 526 Delaware Ave. Palmerton, PA 18071.
