Obituary for Stewart W. Hahn, Jr.
Stewart W. “Stu” Hahn, Jr. 85 years of Catasauqua died Sunday September 8, 2013 in Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Allentown. He was the husband of the late Elaine (Nagle) Hahn. Born in Schnecksville he was the son of the late Stewart Wilson Hahn, Sr. and Anna (Spitko) Hahn. Stu was a member of the former Grace United Methodist Church in Catasauqua. He avidly supported and followed all the Catasauqua sports teams. He enjoyed walking and swimming at the Catasauqua Park. He was a member of the Catasauqua American Legion Post 215. Stu was a WWII Army veteran serving in Japan as a paratrooper during the occupation period following WWII. Survivors include his son Ronald and his wife Beth Hahn of Harleysville. Daughter Sandra and her husband James Becker of Coplay. Sister Doris Hrizuk of Hokendauqua. Grandchildren Shane and his wife Amanda Becker, James Becker and Katie Hahn. Great Grandchildren; Mason & Colton Becker and Angelina and Savannah Becker. He was preceded in death by his brother Samuel and sister Edna. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday September 28, 2013 at the St. Paul’s U.C.C. Church, 105 E 19th St, Northampton, PA 18067. Call from 9:00-10:00 am at the church prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the CHS Booster Club. The Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032 is in charge of the arrangements.
