Obituary for Suzanne Frances Arey
Suzanne Frances Arey 82 years of Coplay died Saturday April 30, 2011 in her residence. She was the wife of Elwood J. Arey and they celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in October 2010. Born in Catasauqua she was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Breisch) Smith. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Northampton. Surviving with her husband Elwood are daughters Linda wife of George Hohl of Coplay, Darlene Schlegel of Whitehall, Kathleen Arey and Gregory of Catasauqua, Kristine wife of Kenneth Moyer of Walnutport, sons Edward J. Arey of Coplay, David J. husband of Yvonne Arey of Northampton, Daniel J. Arey of Catasauqua, sister Grace Danner and brother Frederick Smith. Suzanne has fourteen grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Katrina Moyer and brothers Robert and Richard. Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. Vicky Bush at 11:00am Wednesday May 4 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Call 10:00am until 11:00am Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in her name payable to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
