Obituary for Tara A. Winkelbauer
Tara Anne (Tassi) Winkelbauer, 47, of North Catasauqua passed away peacefully at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Thomas J. Tassi, Sr., and Monica A. (Patchinka) Tassi.
Tara was a 1994 graduate of Catasauqua high school and attended St. John Fisher Catholic Church in North Catasauqua.
She enjoyed cooking various dishes such as halupkis, stuffed peppers, and many Italian foods. Tara was an amazing gardener. Above all, she was a devoted mother to her children. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include both parents; daughters Gianna and Cecelia Winkelbauer, son Derrick Russell; nephew Jakob Tassi, former husband James E. Winkelbauer as well as many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas J. “T.J.” Tassi, Jr.
Her viewing will be from 10-11am Tuesday June 4, 2024 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, PA 18032. Funeral services will follow at 11am Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery in N. Catasauqua.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the family care of the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
