Obituaries
Terry E. Clarke, 74, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at LVH – Muhlenberg. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Harry and Marjorie (Krause) Clarke.
He was the husband of Deborah E. (Lovelace) Clarke with whom he shared 56 years of marriage this past Valentine’s Day. He was a truck driver and heavy machine operator for Whitehall Township retiring after 30 years of employment.
Terry was a lifelong and dedicated volunteer firefighter with Whitehall Fire Department, Engine 38 in Hokendauqua. He also served briefly as Chief. Many will remember him for his blue Mack dump truck and being the best backhoe operator around. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah, his daughters Shelly Kovalchick and Frank, Sheila Kocher and Chris, brother Barry Clarke, sister Sandra Spagnoletti and Rocco, Uncle Jimmy Krause, grandchildren Nick and Ryan Kovalchick, Ella and Jack Kocher and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Dennis, Donald, Gary, Jimmy “Ninna”, Randy and Michael.
There will be a memorial visitation on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Brubaker Funeral Home, 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua from 10-11 a.m. A funeral service will follow in the parlor at 11 a.m.
