Obituary for Thelma Schupsky
Thelma Schupsky 91 years formerly of Whitehall died Tuesday March 1, 2011 in the Phoebe Home of Allentown. She was the wife of the late William J. Schupsky who died December 20, 2003. Born in Northampton she was the daughter of the late Bertha Rockel. Thelma had worked as a secretary for the former Brown & Fulford Insurance Agency for over 30 years before retiring. She was a longtime member of the Christ Church of Lowhill Township in New Tripoli. Thelma loved to travel, play golf, and cards, especially pinochle. Surviving is a brother Glenn husband of Barbara Berger of Emmaus and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Harriet and brother Eustice. Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. Scott Staub at 11:00am Friday March 4 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. A viewing will be 10:00am until 11:00am Friday in the funeral home prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made in her name payable to the Phoebe Home 1925 Turner Street Allentown, Pa. 18104.
